Dr. Radomir V. Stevanović

B.Sc.: 1969, Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering Department, University of Belgrade,

M. Sc. Thesis, title: Axial Gas Dispersion in Packed Bed Column with Counter-current Trickle Flow of Aqueous Phase, defended at the same faculty in 1974.

Ph.D. Thesis title: Development and Mathematical Modeling of Process of Uranium Extraction from Phosphoric Acid. Defended in 1997, at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade, Belgrade.

Professional Carrier:

From October 1969 has been working at the Institute of Nuclear Sciences, Vinča. From October 1976 to April 1978 worked as a Research Fellow at theTechnical University of Delft, The Netherlands, on the problems of ozone absorption accompanied with simultaneous reactions with organic compounds in water. From March to July 1984 worked as a Research Fellow at the Institute of Chemical Process Fundamentals, Czechoslovakian Academy of Science, studying phenomena of drop splitting in a vibrating plate column. From 1987 to 1990, he was engaged in the Project: Uranium Extraction from Phosphoric Acid, Project No: JF859(DOE) in cooperation with Mr Fred Hurst from Oak Ridge National Laboratory, U.S.A. As a result of the co-operation some important improvements in the Extraction Process have been made.

From 2001. assistant professor at the Faculty of Agronomy at Chachak,  University of Kragujevac, teaching Unit Operations.
