 Dr Miša B. Todorović Director of Laboratory 1998 – 2002

 

Miša Todorović was born in Belgrade in 1946. He graduated from the Faculty of Sciences, Physical Chemistry, University of Belgrade, in 1969, where he got his MSc in 1974 and PhD degree in 1981. He has been employed at the Vinča Institute since 1969, from 1998 he was Director of Chemical Dynamics Laboratory. His research activities are mostly in the field of thermodynamics and kinetics of the isotopes exchange and adsorption of radionuclides on inorganic sorbents. He spent some time at the Juelich Nuclear Center as an IAEA fellow in 1978 and again in 1984. He was coordinator of several IAEA projects. From 1989 he works in the field of high-temperature self-propagating synthesis. Two patents on the production of powder mixtures for aluminothermal welding were granted, which are the bases for industrial application of the mixtures.
